Mauro Johannes

Mauro Johannes is a dancer, choreographer and movement director based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. 

Working as both dancer and creative within the team since 2022, he’s one of the core members in the company and has helped shape CDK’s visual language. His multifunctional role within the company has allowed him to work on world tours, music videos, live shows and brand campaigns with some of the hottest names in entertainment. 

He contributed to projects with Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Demi Lovato, Tate McRae, Addison Rae and Christina Aguilera. He’s worked on campaigns, both as a dancer and movement director, for brands like Calvin Klein, GAP, Gentle Monster, Charlotte Tilbury, Google and Samsung. 

Mauro’s work as choreographer has developed itself as distinctly CDK and simultaneously uniquely him. The work is aesthetically driven, suggestive, and tongue-in-cheek. His visuals have gained massive traction on social media, with his premiere visual to Escape From New York’s “Fire In My Heart” amassing over 30 million views across social media platforms, and its choreography trending to this day. Both as a dancer and as choreographer he’s evolving to create a distinct branch within the repertoire of the company.
