What we collect and why
Contact and newsletter forms. When you send us a message or sign up for the newsletter, we store the details you enter (name, email address, your message) so we can reply and keep you informed. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you.
Training applications and waiting lists. When you apply for a CDK University program or another training, we store the details from the application form (name, date of birth, contact details, dance experience and anything else you fill in) to assess the application and to place you on the waiting list. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
Enrolment and memberships. When you enrol after an invitation, your details are passed to Sportivity, the membership administration we use, and payments are handled by Buckaroo. Sportivity and Buckaroo process your data on our behalf under a processing agreement; Buckaroo is an independent controller for the payment itself. Legal basis: performance of the agreement.
Tickets and shop orders. When you buy a ticket or a product, we process your name, email address, address and order details to deliver and to meet our legal (tax) obligations. Payments run through Mollie. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and a legal obligation.
Website use. Our hosting provider keeps server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security, for a limited period. If you accept statistics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to see how the site is used; see our cookie policy.
Who receives your data
We only share data with parties that help us run the website and our organisation: our hosting provider (servers in the EU), Cloudflare (DNS and security), Microsoft 365 (email), Sportivity (membership administration), Buckaroo and Mollie (payments), Bunny.net (video streaming) and, if you consent, Google (statistics). We do not sell personal data and we do not transfer it outside the EU except where the provider offers appropriate safeguards (EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 1 year after our last contact.
- Applications and waiting-list entries: for the season you applied for, and at most 2 years after the application.
- Enrolment and membership data: for the duration of the membership and as long as required afterwards for administration.
- Orders and invoices: 7 years (statutory retention period for tax purposes).
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to view, correct, delete or transfer your data, to restrict its use, or object to it. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw that consent at any time. Email info@cdk-company.com; we respond within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The website runs over HTTPS, access to the administration is restricted and protected, and we keep the software up to date. Payment details are never stored on our servers.
Changes
We may update this statement. The date at the top shows the latest version.
